Booking Policies

Effective from 14 October 2026.

These policies apply to every Social Sisters Melb booking - public event tickets, online trivia and the Inner Circle membership. They sit alongside our full Terms of Service, Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy. By booking a ticket or joining the Inner Circle, you agree to them.

Booking and payment

  • Book and pay for public events directly on our website. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your spot is confirmed once payment goes through and you receive your confirmation email.
  • Spots are limited and are given on a first-come basis.
  • You must be 18 or older to attend.

Venue details

For events at the Social Sisters venue, the exact address and directions to find us are emailed to you after you book. Please check your inbox (and junk folder) before the event.

Inner Circle member pricing

  • Inner Circle members can book a members-only ticket for public events at a discounted price. Founding members (who join during our launch) save 20%. Members who join after launch save 15%.
  • To book a member ticket, you need to be logged in with an active Inner Circle membership.
  • Member tickets are for the member only. If you are bringing a friend, please book them a public ticket.
  • Movie nights are a flat price for everyone, so there is no member ticket for these events.
  • We don't offer discount or promo codes.

Refunds and transfers

  • All sales are final. We don't offer refunds, cancellations or exchanges for change of mind or scheduling conflicts.
  • If you can't attend, you may transfer your ticket to another eligible guest by emailing us their full details within the timeframe we specify.
  • If we cancel a ticketed event and can't reasonably reschedule it, we will refund the ticket price paid, minus any third-party booking or processing fees.
  • We may change an event's date, venue, schedule, inclusions or host if needed. Changes like these don't entitle a refund.
  • If an event is affected by circumstances outside our control (such as severe weather, public health orders, venue closures or illness), we may cancel, postpone or adjust it.
  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Inner Circle membership

  • The Inner Circle costs $9.99 AUD per month. You are charged when you join and then automatically each month until you cancel.
  • There is no lock-in contract. Cancel anytime from your My Account page. You won't be charged again and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.
  • Membership fees are not refunded for part-months or unused events, except where required by law.
  • Membership doesn't automatically reserve a place. Please RSVP for each Inner Circle event you want to attend, and cancel your RSVP as soon as possible if you can't make it. If a member repeatedly RSVPs and doesn't attend without letting us know, we may limit their future RSVPs.
  • At Inner Circle catch-ups there is no Social Sisters fee. You pay for your own food, drinks, activity tickets and venue fees, unless the event listing says something is included.
  • Memberships are personal and can't be shared or transferred.
  • If the price changes, we will email you at least 30 days before your next payment.

At the event

  • Please arrive on time and follow the venue's requirements and our team's instructions.
  • We may refuse entry or remove anyone for unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated or disrespectful behaviour, without a refund.
  • Our events may be photographed or filmed. If you'd prefer not to appear in content, please let us know in writing before the event.
