Social Sisters is a community for Melbourne women who want more fun, more laughter and more friends in their lives. We plan the nights out - you just turn up.
How it started
Hi, I'm Em, the founder of Social Sisters. Social Sisters started with one goal: to create a space for women to connect and form genuine friendships.
I've noticed so many women (myself included) are missing a sense of connection and belonging in their everyday lives - a safe space to be themselves and a genuine group of women to call friends. No matter your age, you deserve a place where you can be yourself, step away from your busy everyday life and just be in the moment. Just have fun. Just breathe.
What began as a simple girls' movie night has grown into a full-blown community of over 200 women and more than 100 events, including trivia nights, mystery nights, craft evenings, movie experiences and now our members-only Inner Circle. It's all been built around one simple idea: every woman deserves a crew to say yes to plans with, and a community she truly belongs to.

No dress code, no pressure - just good company and a fun time out with the girls.
Coming solo? Perfect
98% of the girls who've ever come to Social Sisters came along solo, so you'll be in great company. Our events are made for meeting new people, so you'll never feel like the odd one out.
Activities break the ice
Our signature events are designed to be relaxed, low-pressure and fun, with trivia, mysteries and crafts giving everyone something to chat about from the very first minute. Shy and introverted or confident and outgoing, you'll fit right in.
You'll always belong here
First event or twentieth, you'll be welcomed with open arms. Our girls are the kindest, most supportive bunch - and today's new face is tomorrow's go-to girl.
